The girls soccer team went through the region play with an undefeated record. They then played in the state championship for the second year in a row against Morgan High School. They once again placed second after a very hard game with a score of 1-0.
“I see the team going really far in the future,” senior Jillian Nelson said. “Even though there were a lot of senior starters, there is also a lot of younger talent and potential.”
When asked about what it was like being a senior on the team after the final game, Jillian who has committed to play at Fort Lewis College next year said, “After the final game, I was honestly just so exhausted and sad that it was over, but so grateful and humble that I got to spend the last four years with my favorite people.”
